Well, when I lived in NYC, everything north was considered "upstate".

Now I live in the SW corner of the state, southwest of Buffalo.

In the northern part of NY state, its closer to Quebec than anything else. Plattsburg's just 75 minutes away.
I'm in Montreal.

I won't pin-point my location, but I live in the Plattsburgh area. ^^
