Help needed please

Can someone please help me?My son is a 19 year old ftm on Nebido every 12 weeks and his periods seems to be getting worse ~ with a lot of pain, before Nebido he has periods but rarely, and we are getting no help about what to do.He is due a hysterectomy soon we hope but are at the mercy of the NHS... why do you think this is happening? He has been on Nebido over a year now.We are getting no help from the medical profession at all as I assume they are clueless  Thank you.

OK, the first thing that needs to be established i, what else is your son on. It seems a little strange that he would be prescribed something like Nebido without something more.

While you haven't mentioned dosages, I should point out that doing so is against the rules here.

Why is it strange that he's only on Nebido?  There are problems sourcing Sustanon in the UK, so Nebido is used quite often.

I am experiencing the same problem and I've recently been put on an E-blocker by my endo. Is your son getting his levels checked by an endo regularly?

Why is it strange that he's only on Nebido?  There are problems sourcing Sustanon in the UK, so Nebido is used quite often.

I don't want to really get too involved in this discussion since it is way beyond any experience I may have.

The topic has been moved here, rightly, because there are several very knowledgeable and helpful people, here who can support.

I have only ever been on Nebido (or Reandron as it's called over here) and I had a similar sort of thing happen probably about a year, year and a half after starting... I began to get excruciating "menstrual" sort of cramps (no bleeding etc) about every 4-6 weeks and I mean it was an excruciating and incapacitating sort of pain.

By this stage though I was already having consultations for my hysto as well and had had ultrasounds etc so knew there were no cysts or anything else causing the pains.. I personally put it down to the fact my ovaries were atrophying as a result of taking the testosterone. They're pretty much being rendered useless and I felt as thought the pain was their rebellion!

I put up with it and chewed anti-inflams and other analgesia when it hit, along with heat packs and pretty much curled myself in a ball in bed.. I had my hysto in Oct last year and have had nothing of the sort since.

It's probably obvious but this by no means is a diagnosis and if you are really concerned please go see a doctor..
