Without T for Three days now...

Just a little rant I guess. So when I run low on T I just usually request a refill, this time however I had to have the pharmacy fax a request over to my doctor. I still had a week supply and didn't plan on any issues. After 2 days with no call back to confirm the refill, I messaged the doctor ( that's the only way I can talk with him directly). Replys should take 2 business days.....I didn't get an answer for four. So by now I'm out of T (cream I take). Doctor said he sent it in, so I called the pharmacy the next and they didn't receive it. Great! Called the the doctors and on their end it went through. They said they are going to send it again and I hope this time it goes through. 4 days without T now and I have a major headache. Not only that feels like my hormones are shifting. I have a love hate relationship with doctors and I hate it.

I just posted in the "what are you thinking now" thread a bit ago because I'm having issues today with the medical profession as well. I have the T but ran out of needles. Weeks ago I called and asked the pharmacy if they would sale me syringes without a Rx. They said it would be fine. Went there Friday to pick some up and all of a sudden they need a Rx for them. Ok, whatever...I'll get it.

Had the pharmacy call my doctor's office Monday to speak with a nurse. She gets on the phone and tells them she has no idea why I need needles. Um, what else am I supposed to do with injectable hormones? I know it's in my chart that my doctor just wrote me a prescription for 5 vials (she was going to do unlimited but they don't allow that for controlled substances). I seen where she wrote it down in the notes.

Well, took a few days of playing phone tag but the pharmacy finally got the order. I'm not due a shot till Tuesday but it was still too close for comfort. I think from now on I'm going to start trying to get refills of whatever I need processed a month in advance just to not have to worry about it. Hope they get yours sorted out soon. In the meantime try not to rip too many heads off, lol.

Thanks man! It will be hard but I think I can manage haha. I'm glad yours got sorted out before you ran out. It's a b**** I feel my hormones shifting and I'm having a real bad sweat from it. Hopefully the doctors get things sorted put and I can order it. It takes about three days to ship to me anyway so the sooner this gets sorted the better I am and the safer everyone else is from my mood swings.

one time i was two weeks late on a shot because medco wasnt sending my T to me (and i sent the script over like 2 months ahead of time). And I couldnt even get like another script from my endo because its a controlled substance. FInally after two weeks, they sent me a 1ml bottle. I was supposed to be getting 10ml. It was awful. that whole time it felt like PMS but intensified.
And one time I had to wait on a shot because my pharmacy didn't have needles. They didn't have needles. like what if i was like diabetic? i only had to wait another day but come on now, how can a pharmacy not have needles??
