I have been cross dressing now for many years on and off but recently have started to have feelings about losing my masculine shape. In terms of men's body shape I would say I am slightly under the athletic look. I am not buff at all but then I am also not skinny.
I want to maintain my fitness level and healthy body but if its at all possible I want to slim down.
Is there any thing I can do or do without having to talk to specialist or GP?

Well if you're talking about HRT you will have to go to a clinic or specialist. Other then that just exercise. But I'm not understanding entirely what you're trying to accomplish. A feminine shape? HRT.

Im not entirely sure myself to be honest
i would just like to look a little slimmer in my outfits
especially id like to reduce my masculine arms and shoulders.

Hum  low calorie low carb diet with exercise. That will cut down your weight and muscle a little. Eat mor vegetables than anything elae

Awesome thanks Tristan. I have been on high protein non dairy so will cut out the carbs.
Have a cardio gym routine so maybe this will help.

Thanks again

Cardio and diet WILL help. I myself am only on antiandrogens right now, but I have been doing extensive cardio in preparation to HRT and I sort of dropped out of one size already before I started HRT. I was in the L/M range with my shirts and suits and now all my male clothing looks oversized on me and general impression is... meh... And cardio helps loosing waist too :P. My current measurements are 35" (chest), 32" (waist) and 37" (hips) with 17" wide shoulders and I actually do look fit and slim.

Thanks for your input Sammy. I'm going to combine a high cardio workout with yoga and a healthy balanced low carb, low fat and non dairy.
You also gave me an idea to measure my self now and see how things change in a few months time.

How long had you been dieting for to lose that amount! I know everyone's body and metabolism are different.

Thanks again

I have been watching closely what I eat for about two months and doing a bit of starving from time to time. I also lost about 1" of my shoulders during that time without any HRT as well. I limited my intake of meat, especially fats - I would rather eat nuts, fish or raw eggs instead. By the way, if You are not doing HRT then You MUST take those proteins to remain healthy. One of my habits is that I never eat breakfest and I am trying not to eat after 8 PM in the evening either. If I desperately want something to munch down, then sometimes drinking a glass of water helps, because often body confuses thirst with hunger, or I munch down a couple of cherry tomatoes or a cucomber - almost zero calories and instant effect :).
And I have to admit, I have very good metabolism, but this might be because of testosterone and thus could go worse with time :P.

Ok I have been researching and wow is it confusing trying to decide what to eat and what not to eat.
The basic rules are simple tho and so what I have decided is not to take things to drastic measures but to just cut down on fats and high carbs, increase the amount of protein, drink lots of water and keep active with at lesst 3 to 4 cardio sessions a week as well as yoga and stretching every day.

My diet has Never been high in fat as I don't like fatty meats, I eat lots of fish and I love my veggies and salads. It's coming into winter here in Australia so will be having lots of healthy soups full of nutrients.

I measured myself today and I was quite suprised how large I am

One other thing I have learnt is that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I start with a warm cup of lemon and water. It kick starts the immune system and your body will love you for it.

I think for a feminine shape work out your legs like a mofo, get those thighs and butt big and juicy.

Try to eat small meals throughout the day, and don't work out your upper body at all
