About the SMC Pride Initiative:
The PRIDE Initiative under 'BHRS' Office of Diversity and Equity is committed to foster a welcoming environment for the LGBTQQI communities living and working in San Mateo County through an interdisciplinary and inclusive approach. We are made up of individuals who are concerned about the well-being of the LGBTQQI communities in San Mateo County.

Our Vision:
An inclusive environment based in equality and parity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and intersex (LGBTQQI) communities of San Mateo County.

Thanks Gennee.

There's almost nothing on the peninsula with regards to queer/questioning/trans stuff. There's the SF LGBT Center and Billy DeFrank in San Jose, but then this huge vacuum for those of us in between. So, I'm really hoping this will take off!
