I shaved part of my leg to see how fast it would grow back, I shaved them last Friday and it hasn't even grown back yet! The hair that has grown back its very fine and not even the size of a grain of rice. I wanted to know do any of you ladies know what this is an indication of or does my hair just grow back really slow? Iv'e only been on hormones for a week so I know it's not the hormones, Im just really curious.

Have you shaved your leg hair before?  Do you know how fast it grew before?

Leg hair grows back more slowly, on average, than other types of body hair. Some people will only be able to maintain smoothness for the day of the shave, whereas others might be smooth for longer.

I don't know if hormones made much of a difference for me in this regard. It might grow back more slowly - I'm not sure. I didn't shave my legs as a guy.

It's almost definitely not the hormones in you - it's just how you are. You may have low testosterone, or good genes.

Pre-hormones, when I shaved, it was about a day or so before it went from perfectly smooth to prickly hair again. and about a week or so before I had visable hairs. Now that I have been on hormones for about 10 months (wow has it been that long...) they remain smooth to the touch for about 3 days and its about almost 2 weeks before I can see the hairs. But part of that, is my leg hair grows a little more sparsly and has change from jet black to mostly blond hairs. Not vellus hairs just blonde. I had similar things happen with my facial hair as well. Hope that helps!
