Actually, I like when my favourite things are harder to find. It makes the times you do stumble across them that much more awesome. ;D

This!
Yea, we made some waves!
My feet are killing me, but we saw the Natural History Museum and American History Museum. Then we had Indian food for dinner. My first curry in over 13 yrs!
My work in Washington DC is done for now. We head back for Indiana in the morning.

My friends were joking about, calling me a man and reffering to me as a he. They don't know my circumstances.

One was like, "Oh's it's over there, by where she's standing."
And the other replied, "She? Where? All I see are three guys."

He was trying so hard to offend me, but he will never know how happy he made me. I just wish they'd play that game more often!

So last night I looked in the mirror and noticed just how much of my facial hair has now gone forever!
I have been getting laser for 11 months now and boy what a difference, only a few stray hairs left now plus some grey ones which I have already seen an electrologyst about for the first time.
Have had my legs done as well and there is almost no hair left on them.  ;D

Happy happy days indeed!
So long and thanks for all the fish

Nine 1.5 litre bottles lying around the floor atm... And that's little. There was more but we returned the bottles. :D
And we're not even talking about all the energy drink bottles and cans I've left behind... The things I do for caffeine addiction. :'D

I used to buy the Mint flavored ones. Those were awesome. But I cut back and my body thanks me for that. I did assault it with a large pan of nachos awhile back (first time in four months) so that was a different story.

Everyone knows that nachos are health food!

Otherwise known as 'buy two at a hugely inflated, artificially high price, before we drop it back down to the usual price for a few weeks!'. ;)

Sorry to point this out, but H&B do this all the time. You might have found a bargain with a specific product, but I can tell you that my favourite protein supplements usually cost £18.99 each. But when the 'buy one get one half price' deal starts, they rocket up to £42.99 each, which means two will cost £64.48 on the 'deal', instead of £37.98 at the normal price. The shareholders must be laughing all the way to the bank.

They cycle through this every couple of weeks, trying to fool customers into thinking they're getting a bargain. Such a rip-off; please keep your eyes peeled.

I got an "I love you" from one of my bosses today.

It was great, I totally thought I screwed up big time. We've been working on this very complex land deal for over a year, and she finally finished all the documents and entrusted them with me to go and record them at town hall in a certain order, with instruction to fill in the blanks with the appropriate page numbers, along with the recording fee of $371. I gave them to the clerk (who's my ex-boyfriend's really lovely mother) to record and by mutual misunderstanding an exhibit from one deed got messed up with another deed. In the car, while double checking everything I noticed the misorder and started mentally freaking out, called my boss and told her there was a mess up. She said to have it all rerecorded. Luckily, I go in and the clerk is able to just rig the recording machine and renumber the affected pages. Yay! I got the "I love you" when I called my boss and told her I got it all fixed.  ;D

A happy solstice to you all - what care I that I'm still awake at 4.30 in the morning and listening to the seagulls waking up? :) Well, if I can't sleep at least I can bombard people with well-wishes, innit.
