Benji

Hello! I am a fairly new member to the trans* community, though I've been an ally for quite a while. I have recently decided, with the help of a very close friend of mine, that I am genderfluid.

I'm still trying to get used to it all, and have only come out to my internet friends at the moment. I am biologically female, and my birth name is Zoe, but I've adopted the name Benji for when I'm feeling more male (though depending on how things turn out I might take it as my more androgynous name as well).

I found this website after some snooping around and was happy to see it has an andro board. I've recently ordered a binder and once it comes in the mail I'll be starting to present more male in public when I feel the desire. I'm a 22 year old college student who works a retail job on the East Coast of the U.S.A. I'm currently a super senior, studying psychology in the hopes of becoming a clinical psychiatrist and a gender therapist.

Hoping to meet more friends and people who might want to talk. My skype is projection8animus, or of course you're welcome to shoot me a PM on here, or an email. I'm still a little confused about everything, but making friends is always a good place to start in grounding yourself. <3

Welcome, enjoy your stay. I'm sure you'll find some sort of helpful info and companionship here.
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Hi Benji, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 11084. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another Andro.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Zoe, its nice to meet another Zoe! It was a pretty rare name for a while but I've met more younger kids named Zoey lately.

Yeah, it's hit the top-20s recently. Less popular in '89 or thereabouts, but eh.
I blame miss Deschanel. It's her fault the name's not as unique anymore.
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.
