I'm asking for an ass kicking here since I've given so many
advice about voices and I'm going to show mine here ;-).
Its 100% on the phone for whatever reason since childhood... So I must be doing something right, whatever that is.

The raspiness you hear in my voice is not because I smoked  :D, but because one of my vocal cord is partially paralized due to many viral ilnesses to the throat around 21. I've been able to reinforece my cords to mostly get rid of it (it was much worse just after it happened, but I cannot get rid of all of it without surgery). The raspiness is slightly worse than usual because its the end of the day (I lose a bit of voice control in the evening). When I sing, the raspiness mostly disapeers.

Anyway, the poem is : She walks in Beauty (very well known).
This is me unadorned by makeup or artifices.

I look so much worse with glasses, but I can't read the computer screen without them.

When you click on this, you go to photobucket. I'm sorry my clip is sideways, I thought I'd fixed this in editing before uploading, but seemingly not. Just tilt your head sideways, its a short clip  ;D

I honestly think your voice is very passable.  Yes, you must be doing something right indeed :).  Good for you, Keira and thanks a bunch for sharing that beautiful poem by Lord Byron.

Hi Kiera, Nice voice. When I can speak as confidently as you I'll make my own video. It would be great to hear you speaking normally as well as reciting the poem, when I say normally I mean in feminine mode.....of course!!!
Best wishes, Louise

Hey! Raquel Welch had a voice just like yours!  You worry about that teeny weeny raspy sound?  It is sexy, doll!

I couldn't place your accent.  I read somewhere else that your native language is French. It is quite beautiful.

Thanks for sharing.  Really.  I did enjoy the poetry too!

I very much like your voice, but I think you would do better to slow down when you read that poem, because going as fast as you did made it a bit difficult to follow, even though I know the poem.

But I doubt you have anything to worry about as far as your voice goes.

You have a beautiful voice that little raspiness is sexy. I know a few girls that sound much like that. I wouldn't worry about. You should slow down a bit when reading poetry. A great sounding voice. I'm in envy. ;D Loved the pic's too you are beautiful. ;)
