Monday is Black
by DonnaTroy

Monday is black, what's the point in going back
Tuesday hurts, life is a losing game
Wednesday is the same, no one else to blame
Thursday is getting close, i'm wiltering like a rose
Friday is here, moments till i dissappear
Saturday is pain, everything i disdain
Sunday is peace, i cease to be forevermore

Monday is black.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain, I like watchin' the puddles gather rain.

Despite all my rage, I'm still just a rat in a cage

Wow.  Tough stuff.  I love how, despite the finality of Sunday's line, it begins again on Monday.  I feel similarly through the week, when I'm having to present male, but the weekends (and some evenings) I can truly dress to reflect how I feel.  But then it's back to black on Monday.

Thank you for sharing your poem.  :)
