I am assuming I passed and, better yet, people loved me, it was one of the most awe-inspiring things I have ever done. I have always been afraid to sing at black churches because of the transphobia issue, which stems from the fact that most black men are very attracted to us but don't want it known.

It was also very cool to perform on Fillmore Street!

I wouldn't say that having been so filled with the spirit that I almost had an out of body experience a little thing though.

There were moments when I thought the energy was going to blow the roof off. I also discovered today that I am a pretty darn good vocalist for a white chick. Actually, there wasn't another singer there with as much soul.
