This might be a silly question, but if you have a phallo you need skin from your arms or legs. Well, I'm really hairy and I guess I'm not alone, the question is will that skin grow hairs after surgery?  ::) Will I need to shave my d*ck or what? xD I feel like an idiot for asking this....

Hahah oh I've been wondering the same thing  :embarrassed:

wheat thins are delicious

It's suggested you get hair removal on the graft site, otherwise yes, your new phallus will be hairy to a degree depending on how hairy the graft site was.

I see, thank you. It's like before surgery you get rid of the hair with a simple razor or you need to go to this laser removal or something like this?

I'm pretty sure electrolysis is recommended on the graft site before surgery.  If you just shave with a razor then it'll come back just like it would on your arm/leg.

I honestly never thought about this before. Wow. That kinda blows. :/

The graft doesn't have to arm or leg, the inside of the arm isn't as hairy as the rest thankfully. One doc uses your side.

Yeah electrolysis, that's the word I was looking for. It seems right, thanks for the answer.

I saw one guy who had tattoed arms and legs everywhere, no empty place in his skin, his phallus became tattoed that way  ;D I started to wonder what about hair then?

Inside of the arm would be better, you're right, but I never heard of sides. Interesting.

Haha, I saw that the other day, and for whatever reason the thought of body hair just never crossed my mind.
Guess we should be wary of what tattoos we get on our arms as well if we ever plan on possibly getting the surgery. ;)
I haven't thought far enough into the future to know what I want, but I guess I should leave my options open. Unfortunately, I plan on getting a tattoo for a friend of mine who died two years ago on my right forearm, so if I did decide to go this route, my other arm has scars all down it, and one of them is pretty dang big (THAT one wasn't a depressed cutting incident, just some kinky stuff that got out of hand haha).

I think I'm going to go with using my thigh. The scar is huge and very prominent. Better to have it covered by clothing to avoid questions and for aesthetics, imo.

Plus I have tattoos on both arms that I don't want on my penis, lol.

I'm also thinking to getting tattoed again, I'm gonna think about it twice after this  ;D Didn't you think about getting tattoed around the scar? I saw it pretty often nowadays. Course I don't know how big is the scar.

I was thinking about the thigh too, but it's too hairy. I have time to think about it.
That guy has one of the most unique penises probably xD I don't know if it's a good thing for me or not xD

Mine is too hairy too so there are two options:

1. Nickname my penis "Sasquatch".

or...

2. Have electrolysis on that bit of my thigh.

I think I'll go with the electrolysis, lol. I'm thinking a good way to find a trans friendly place to do it would be to ask transwomen in the area where they go to get theirs done. It would be strange just walking in there to get a rectangular part of my leg zapped with no explanation because they're going to ask why, I'm sure.

There are cis dudes with hairy cocks, so it wouldn't be too weird. Just depends on how much and how far up the hair goes c:
  •

Natkat

lol this thread made me think of this hairy penis

  •

Jared

@Faun: I know some hairyness is ok but not as much as my thigh  ;D
@Natkat: just lol
@Make it good: thanks for this much info, totally makes sense. I don't really want to imagine to have laser removal after surgery, but I can believe you were happy a bit for having sensation. It's always good to hear that someone is able to have sensation after this surgery. I really want to have phallo but the sensation part worries me a bit. I'm glad that things went well for you. I don't know if I can ask this (so let me know if not lol) but are you done with this surgery or do you have left any stage of it? It sounded stupid to me

That's awesome. Between each stage you can go home and get on with your life? I mean you can work or whatever you want to do? You must be really excited that you're so close to the aim  :)
