I love being a girl because this is what I will be wearing in the sun after work today :)

We have a thread about thing you hate about being a girl.. lets start one.. things you love about being a girl

So here goes.

1. pantyhose.. I love wearing it, i love the feeling of it on my legs, especially when they are freshly shaved. Pantyhose was the first thing i wore when I started crossdressing.
2. A light breeze on my legs when I wear a skirt.. and love it when it blows under your skirt..
3. A nice girly session.. getting my nails done, putting on makeup.
4. Wearing a dress..
5. womans underwear, it feels so much softer then mens and I enjoy wearing a bra..
6. Get to wear high heels shoes, i know a lot women hate this one, but my feet are use to it now, and I can wear them for hours.
7. Being dominated in the bedroom.. Female sexuality is much more passionate and deeper.
8. being treated like a lady, it makes me feel very special
9. Wearing earrings.. I know men also get their ears pierced, but woman have a huge selection of styles/types of earrings.
10, Female friendship is much deeper than a male friendship.
11. Having breasts

What do you girls like?
Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

I like your list as you are so right with everything and brings a smile to my face

I would add Hair in that no disgusting body hair and being able to have long hair, no short back and sides and then loose it all and all the female styles.
Being able to show emotion and not viewed as being weak or worse.
Pantyhose do feel so good now that I have had my legs lasered, no shaving required and silky smooth legs instead of prickly things

So many clothes and shoe options comapared to mens styles.

So long and thanks for all the fish

Angela???

Love your list Noleen, and can't agree more with Jenny.

For me, Makeup! Love the stuff. If I could wear it all the time I would.
Love black tights and corsets/figure shape wear. Plus all the things that go with being a woman. Ladys have sooo much more choice with clothes etc. Men, bla, crap clothes that are ugly, nothing pretty at all about them, I like pretty clothes and pretty things, just like most women!

I'm a girl, I always knew!
Now it's time to stop hidding and show the world who I really am!

I absolutely love my pretty blonde hair now that it's getting longer....something I only could dream about while hiding in boy mode while growing up :)

Skinny jeans or short shorts, painted toenails and a cute tank top while sitting in the morning sun having coffee, glancing over at my reflection in the glass door makes me just smile real big :)

Being able to show my sensitive side more openly than I ever could before.
Just a "California Girl" trying to enjoy each sunny day

The ONE thing I like most is that I can just be ME and everything flows naturally, nobody raises an eyebrow, and nobody gives a (negative) second look.

I did not even have to laser my legs HRT did it, and I do love having smooth legs, they feel great

about the clothes you are so right, I like the extra colors, men's are so plain

Shopping is fun

I love shopping for shoes, dresses, skirts, dresses, top, makeup, nail polish, lingerie/underwear and earrings, which includes navel rings

so basically anything girlie.. I love dressing pretty and making myself pretty.

My g-girl roommate says I am such a girl.. The best compliment we can receive lol She is a great shopping partner, as she loves shopping for girly thing as much as i do.

OK, I feel I need to refine my "favourite things about being a girl."

  • Looking in the mirror and seeing a girl.
  • Have others see the me I feel.
  • Growing long hair.
  • Having fat distributed in female areas, hips and breasts.
  • Not having to shave.
  • Having very little body hair.
  • Not having T screw with my head and therefore not having to think about it every 3 seconds.
  • Clothes that flatter my female attributes.
  • Not having to wear a shirt and tie or grey suit, ever again.
Those are my favourite things.

Hum just wondering but did you follow the washing instructions? A lot of more fashion-forward clothes & fabrics are hand wash or dry clean only.
They were all machine washable and dryable. They were basic, plain, ugly 100 % cotton shirts. And the sweaters were very basic cotton things, as well. Not to mention I didn't need to wash them for them to "shed" all over the place. Just when I came home actually. Just enough for me not to notice at the store~

And honestly, I've machine-washed "hand wash" items a lot before. They did get damaged more quickly. But never nearly THAT quickly. To be honest I think 10-15 washings was an optimistic figure.

I love my fancy lacy girly bras, could never have stuff like that before, in fact I am only just now buying them, when I started I only bought plain ones

I love posing in front of mirrors.

Only on my good days, of course, but... *sigh*

I have to say, I also love just the feeling of existing as a girl. Everything feels so RIGHT, in ways staid old me could only imagine. And thus, I'm overall much happier.
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

Being able to express myself emotionally and cry when I need to.

Shopping - love shopping unless I get dehydrated - which happened to me once, so we had to take a breake from shopping!  :D :)
Sometimes when life is a fight - we just have to fight back and say screw you - I want to live.

Sometimes we just need to believe.

The companionship of other girls, super fun.

But then there's so much drama with them too...

Does being able to serve my brain E, which it has desired for so long, count?

Cliché, but true: shoes. Not heels really (a. too tall for that I feel, and b. currently require shoes I can wear while presenting male as well), but just colourful and original shoes. Am a bit torn by my feet losing half a centimetre in length though, on one hand I get to go buy new shoes, on the other: my wallet...

More generally: clothes (of course ;)); but also being able to act like I feel, and not like what I think people would expect.
