I've only been identifying as non-cis for a little under two months now and I have to say I found a lot of things to be very confusing at first and it took me a while to get used to using pronouns correctly. I feel like there's largely a lot of ignorance out there and probably a smaller amount of hate but both exist. However those who are ignorant largely won't take it upon themselves to learn so sometimes I think a little push goes a long way.
