Is your experience of being transgender normative or not?

If not, describe the ways in which your experience differs from the stereotypical norm.

In some ways, yes.. In others, no.

Medical-wise, I've never experienced any gate-keeping that some seem to bemoan.

I was quite successful at denial, specially as I got older. What brought down the house of cards was someone else pointing out what they saw as obvious about me - turns out a lot of other people saw it too.

I don't subscribe to the labels.. I also don't beleive that one has to do a whole bunch of stuff in order to 'pass'..

How often do you change haircolors and is your hair still pink?

I colour my hair about once a month. No, it's not still pink.

Dear Miss Kelly the Trans-Rebel,

Is it true you still pick your nose?

Sometimes I blog things

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

What are you rebelling against?

I refuse to follow the herd.. I'm trans and I do it on my terms. I'm not a girly girl, I use the same voice I've always had, I don't wear makeup, I refuse to have FFS simply because other trans women tell me I have to have.. Oh, and I'm happily a non-op trans woman..

Oh, and I'm simply a sh!t stirrer..

Are you going to answer Catherine's question?
I am curious too.

Catherine, no, I don't pick my nose and never have.. I keep a man chained up in my wardrobe just for that purpose - he's no good for anything else.

WOW!!! That's totally awesome.

I wouldn't have the room in my wardrobe to fit him, but it's a good idea to keep in mind.

So you must be one of the 9.7% that voiced their discontent to this social norm of epic proportion.

Thanks for the good idea.

How did you buy women clothes and undergarments the first time when starting the female transition? Do you have female friends to escort you at the shopping mall first?

Hmm, that's an interesting one. I've been buying my own women's clothes on and off since I was 12 and it's not something I've ever really had a problem with with.

What's your favorite time of the day?

Evenings, when I can relax, cook myself a nice meal and watch TV and mess around online.

How are you feeling Kelly?

Is your hair dyed or is it a pink wig?
