Hello..I'm new..

My friend told me about this place and I've been too scared to read anything on here but finally I decided to give it a go.  I've been reading the fourms for hours now and finally was brave enough to make an account.  I'm still trying to decide who I am, whether I am actually male or female or a mix of the two.  I'm not really sure what to put here, never really been that good at introducing myself..

I've always wanted to go to Australia.. And I guess I'm just really nervous because only a few people really know about my gender issues, it is something I keep secret because of people that might freak out.  So usually I just ignore everything and keep it bottled up, but I'm trying to not do that anymore...

Well just about everyone here has gender issues so there is no reason to be nervous!

We suggest talking to a therapist to get your feelings in order. Remember they are bound by legal confidence to keep your treatments private.


They do help as well!

Right now I am sticking with friends who are trans to help, I cannot afford a therapist and there are other reasons to why I can't go to one that I don't really want to get into right now, but I have been trying to be more open with others about it.

Thanks Malachite, I like yours too.  I had an obsession with Sailor Moon as a child, so it made me smile because he was so handsome.  Mine is the nickname people gave me from my usual username.  I would have used my usual username but I was afraid people would look it up and find me here and I'm not ready for that.  I sound kinda pathetic, no?

Thanks Kyh.  It took a lot of courage for me to even make an account so... But that makes me happy I found other Sailor Moon fans.  It was a big part of my past.

Hehe Yeah, not only is it a new forum with new people, but it's one that revolves around something as difficult to deal with as ->-bleeped-<-. I can understand the aprehension one might have. I'm kind of a "do first, think (or regret hahaha) later" kind of girl though, so that wasn't a problem for me ^_^

Lol! I know for a fact that Malachite also loves Sailor Moon. I think maybe 1/3 of our conversations have involved that show in some way hahaha

And you're not pathetic in the least. Like you said, you're not very open about your gender issues/feelings yet so it's understandable you'd want to be a bit cautious.
