Dress Shoes

I ran into a funny problem today and I was wondering if it's like this for everyone else.

My dress shoe size is a size to a size and a half smaller than my normal shoe size.
I'm not complaining because it means I fit into the $20 boys dress shoes instead of the $50+ mens, but I found it funny considering even the biggest boy shoes sizes are too small for me with any other types of shoes.

That is odd, my dress shoe size is the same as my sneakers, but like you said, good! I'd rather keep the 30 extra dollars lol

There was a time when I wished I could have worn boy sneakers. Some of them are neat looking. However, I wear a 10 1/2 or 11 in men's. I've never bought a true pair of dress shoes. I've always worn sneakers with suits (Yes, even before Ellen made it fashionable, lol).

Man I wish I could fit in a 10 1/2 or 11 mens, 7 1/2 is dang hard to find. XD As nice as cheap shoes are... I wish I was in a more common size.

My boy's dress shoes are bigger than my boys sneakers. I bought the same size thinking they'd fit the same and only walked around with them for a few steps at the store before buying them, but after wearing them around the office for a few weeks, I notice the back slips off a bit, especially if I am up on my toes trying to reach something on a shelf where my boys sneakers fit like a glove.

I probably should've gotten a 1/2 size smaller in the dress shoes than my sneakers (which are awesome, my male boss bought the same pair after I bought mine, I also wore a male shirt to work a few weeks ago and he said he really liked it. I feel fashionable in a manly way  ).

I wear a 9.5 or 10 and for dress shoes I'm in that range as well, usually 9.5

That's odd, my dress shoes are actually bigger. Maybe that's due to the slight pointedness of the toe.

I have to wear boys shoes all the time. I'm a UK 5 most of the time (US 6?) and that's the upper limit for boys shoes, and extremely irritating. A lot of places don't seem to stock them as much as the sizes that are definitely male or children's.

They are cheaper, but there's a reason for that which isn't just theat they're smaller, or that they're not taxed here in the UK (adult clothes are, kids arent), they're lower quality. I have a pair which I hate wearing now because the wind blows through the hole in the side, and the bit beneath the insole had worn away so that the sole feels kinda spiky after wearing it for a long time.  On the other hand my assault boots which are unisex so available in smaller sizes are still perfectly wearable after 5 years.
