Okay, I've beaten this drum to death... "all I ever wanted to do is have my outside match my inside".
I'm sure a number of you have seen that in my posts, and now, I seem to be experiencing an acceleration of my transition, after more than 2 years.  My face and whole body are changing again.  I find that I spend twice the time on my appearance than my wife (who humorously points this out to me lately).  I seem to care more than I ever thought I would on what to wear, what lipstick to use, what earrings, etc.  The fact is, I'm finally beginning to look okay.....
and I like it!  What in the name of God is happening to me?! I'm a basics person, but I find myself absorbed with my hair, take ten minutes picking out jeans and a women's tee shirt, and God forbid I should decide later I should have worn shorts instead.
Aarrggg!!!  I'm.........insane!
I'm becomming...........girly!

Welcome to our World Bev....

Its after an hour of trying on clothes, when the wardrobe is empty and you are stepping over skirts, tops, blouses, jeans and trousers on the floor, that you know you have arrived.

Wait a minute, after all that what jewellery to wear and hand bag to use????

Enjoy every minute of it.

Dressing, taking care of you hair, makeup, takes less time later when you actually know what the hell your doing.
So, your wife's faster not just because she's less vain :-).

It takes awhile to fnd the perfect hair that will both be stunning and not take one hour to do, same thing with makeup.

Right now, my hair takes me about 30 minutes, but I don't have to do it every day (once every 3 days) with about 5-8 min to refresh that original style every day. Often the hair looks better on the third day than one the first.

For makeup, once you know what works and the technique, its really fast"

- (eyeshadow/eyeliner/mascara/eyebrows 10 min max, often much less and I I dont just use one colour, its multi-hued).
- Blush/highlighting powder/spot conceiler 2 min max,
-  lipstick/lip liner/gloss 2 min max,
- trimming nails/removing cuticles/putting bottom coat/nail polish/top coat 15-20 min (I don't do that every day though, once a week, with 1-2 min a day to repair wear to the nail polish and putting a new top coat).

Selecting which clothes to wear though, its hard to improve in speed with time since my clothing choice is huge and always expanding, I have massive ammount of clothes I bought in the last year.

My makeup takes only about 5-10 minutes, and the hair 20, but my old hair is as thin and dry as a coat of paint! It covers everything okay, but has no volume, and there is not enough volume in a bottle I can buy to make it 'young hair'
Okay girl.....I want your hair, right now.  Hand it over!  lol.   :icon_pistoles:
