Hey so I know that it just came out today but has one decided to buy this game or have already own it? I could really use a new game with a good female protagonist but this one has worried me from the get go because they seem to be solely relying on the fact that they have a female protagonist as their marketing strategy and I haven't seen any gameplay.

The new PCGAMES (german gaming magazine i have a subscription to) says this about the game:

It's good, but could have been much better.

It's very linear too.

Scored something like 73 percent or so in the ratings.

Yeah the wikipedia page pegged it as such but I've often a lot of good games in that range, so hopefully we can find someone who has played it.

I'd say wait for Beyond: Two Souls.

Sadly I don't have a PS3, and I doubt I'll have the money for a PS4 this fall due to electrolysis eating all of the money from my internship.

I liked Two Worlds 1, which didn't exactly receive dream-ratings, so yeah. Also some of the old Disney licensed games and Simpsons: Hit and Run were great. I remember cracking up when Homer said something about giving someone a neck massage if they drive him somewhere and Lisa saying things completely out of character like "My haircut!". Used to watch them ALL THE TIME.

I preordered Remember Me, but reviews and word of mouth have kind of scared me off of purchasing it. I really thought the previews looked cool too. -_-

The youtube gamer theradbrad seems to enjoy it and I tend to watch him play games I'm too iffy on to purchase or to broke to purchase.  Me personally though, I couldn't get into the game.  It was too "out there" for me concerning gameplay.  I'm just going to save my money for another video game.

That's a shame. It was such a great idea for a game.

I'm going to rent it for a couple of days to try it for myself but I have no idea how that's going to go.
