Do you pee standing up?

For pre-op and non-op girls, do you ever pee standing up?

Eww! No! I'm a girl. Girls sit down.
Only when I really need to.
Sure, all the time. As long as I'm stuck with this thing, I might as well use it.
I'm not pre-op/non-op but I want to see the results

Work on this obsession. :p Being afraid of germs makes you more sick because you private your immune system from its regular training.

I wouldn't advocate not using clean facilities as it improves your immune system! hahaha
There is truth to what you're saying but I'm not about to start not cleaning the loo before using it to build my immune system.
Without getting into a whole public health debate there is a reason for handwashing and not sitting in other peoples' urine. :)
It's kind of like spitting (horrible disgusting habit IMO), people used to do it and well, TB isn't the same problem it used to be, not to mention lots of other things.
Sorry, I don't want to make a huge thing of this but I thought the germaphobes needed another voice :)

there is such a thing as balance, one does not have to go from never touching anything anywhere and always using sanitizer to swimming in filth , the happy medium would be to find a decent ladies room and use it. many can be sat on without causing any sickness, most have no residue on them, the rest only slight dribble, and I have only very rarely once or twice run across some that were really filthy

Sorry, I'm still thinking in terms of having to use the guys bathrooms majority of the time, and yes, they are mostly nothing short of filthy where I go (Maybe I should change my hangouts? Nah!).
But yes, a health balance of not sanitising everything with alcohol and not rolling in filth, I think we can all agree on that :)

Only if I'm in the middle of nowhere and there's no toilet. Only then will I pee standing up (I hate it's an option)  or like a friend of mine told me "I celebrate my trans status."

Absolutely not! Peeing while standing up has been the grossest thing to me since growing up. I 99% of the time in childhood have pee'ed sitting down, and now it is absolutely 100%.

I could never understand how men can grab their junk like that, stretch it out, urinate, shake it a little, put it back into one's pants and walk away. Sometimes even without washing their hands...

When I was a kid my mom took me to visit one of her friends and her kids, there was a boy my age

I asked where the restroom was and then he walked in and made fun of me for sitting to pee, then he took me out around the back wall of their garage and said "This is how you do it"

He then proceeded to urinate on the wall writing "I love Male name" and then signed his name

I didn't say anything, but this kinda freaked me out

Very funny, but no. I sit, no matter what the situation is , even in my own home. If the facilities are nasty, I won't use them.

Usually sit occasionally stand... I mean why not? begin trans sucks badly, I might aswell take advantage of my mutant super powers every now and again when it's convenient. ie If I'm in a rush, or the toilet is messy.

I have been trying to go only sitting down to try and get used to it. I'll only do it standing up if I'm in an extreme time crunch.

When I am at home no very rarely but when I am out in public I usually use urinals. Just so people don't notice.

I stand. much more convenient. When in public, I still have to go to the guys, so I stand. If i were ever to use the womens, sit or squat. Can't stand because 1: people can notice feet pointing the wrong direction, and 2: for whatever reason, if you don't pay attn and aim at the side of the bowl, pee coming from that high up makes a much louder noise than when sitting. That'd give you away.

Sometimes I do. Sometimes it's just convenient. Hell, I have a privilege that most girls would kill for, why not take advantage of it. I've become comfortable enough with myself that I can enjoy the privilege.  But, most of the time I sit down, only for the simplicity of it. I tuck 24/7, even when I sleep. It's easier to drop my panties and sit, than it is to try to wiggle it out or hold my panties up while I stand. I never stand in public (obviously).

Not exactly the same, but similar, our family used to go visit relatives in the mid-West every summer.  My cousin lived in the sticks and had a horse pasture with an electric fence.  The neighbor kid talked me into peeing on it.  OMFG, I should have known better, that gets you where you live.

I have seen kids doing that in the snow, trying to write stupid things in that way...
I decided to observe myself and basically, I pee sitting down, when I am at home. When at work, I sort of dont want to sit down there... Also, if I would be suddenly caught outdoors with no other options, then I would rather stand and get things done quickly.

By the way, is this thread slowly going towards "Are You trans enough?" or is it just me? :P

One certainly needs to be confident enough in their femininity to do this:  ;D

I really couldn't do this presenting as a man, not even going to try to walk into the room now that I have lived this many years as woman where I feel completely out of place and do something so out of character.

Especially in a city where it could get me killed!

I could pull that off no problem, without even feeling like less of a woman!
Don't judge a book by its cover! My lifes been like a country song! True love, amazing grace, severe heartbreak, buckles, boots n spurs! I 've been thrown off the bull a couple times, I keep getting up and dusting myself off! Can't give up on my happily ever after!
