Do you pee standing up?

For pre-op and non-op girls, do you ever pee standing up?

Eww! No! I'm a girl. Girls sit down.
Only when I really need to.
Sure, all the time. As long as I'm stuck with this thing, I might as well use it.
I'm not pre-op/non-op but I want to see the results

5 plus weeks into taking estradiol valerate and micronized progesterone, I sit ALL the time at home.

I sit about 90% of the time in the men's room, and about 10% of the time I have to stand -- very unfortunate.

The nipples and areolas are already protruding rather obviously in my shirt, and look ready for a baby to nurse on them.

With more breast development, I could conceivably use the women's restroom during non-peak hours when nearly empty, I hope in not too long.  I don't want to get into disputes with security guards, though.

Johanna.
I am female.

No, I don't. It feels off to me.

I have to sit all the time now as after nearly 16 months on Oestrogen, I am very tiny down there and cannot really function at the mens urinals (which I hate anyway). Its much easier and cleaner to sit. As my Girlfriend & Flatmate said 30 years ago when I transitioned the first time around. You MUST sit every time. Get used to it and you will be much happier , but don't forget to wipe yourself afterwards . Just get into the habit. If my friend (whom I shared with) ever caught me trying to stand I got a serious talking to. In fact with the couple that I went onto live with for a while as an aupair - slipping  back like that meant some spanking by Derek and Yvonne!

Since I made the decision to finally accept who I've known I've been since childhood, I have found that it makes me very dysphoric to stand while peeing. I just can't do it any more. It's weird to me that it bothers me, but in a way it makes me happy. I confirms my self identity and reinforce's to me that I am making the right decision by pursuing my transition.

I have not stood under any circumstances since back in 1997. I am even paranoid of the thought of standing. However, I was never comfortable standing next to another guy doing it. I do not present in female mode (but would like to be able to do so) and still only sit and do not find it to be a problem.

The biggest problem is the lack of an adequate number of stalls (frequently only one) in many men's restrooms. I wish that I was able to use the women's restroom.

NO!! No way, no how, no m'am!! Girls do not pee standing up unless it is a bizarre situation and none come to mind readily. I do not care what is down there -- that is a no. When I encounter a nasty bathroom situation, I do what all other girls do and that is hover engaging the thigh muscles. If I catch any of my girlfriends or find out they 'standing up', I will force them to go back and do it all over again the proper way --- Young Lady! If they are still in mannish mode, then understandable.

And while we are on the subject of bodily functions please remember Women don't fart. They do however shoot tiny puffs of glitter, that sound like a unicorn's laughter and smell like rainbows.

Read that on a greeting card and I agree.

If your going thru hell, just keep going.

I enjoy sitting down to pee, but I stand when I am in a hurry. I don't think it matters how you like to pee though.

I'm pre-everything and I've been sitting to pee for like forever.
Standing does come in handy at times though, and I do it reluctantly. But I prefer to sit as I have privacy.

There's even a funnel they sell for females to stand up and pee!

A few months ago when I came out to my wife, she was crying, I was crying, and there were all of the normal questions you'd expect.  Then through the tears she asks, "is that why you always sit down to pee now?"  I couldn't help but laugh.  I hadn't really thought about it.  But yeah...that's why.

That was not my reason when I first chose to sit instead of stand. I was tired of splashing on my trousers, getting the last spurt in my trousers, having difficulty completly emptying my bladder, and standing next to other guys with our penises out. I tried sitting and found it to be much more pleasant and relaxing.

I have become totally paranoid of the thought of standing and never consider the possibility.

I haven't stood to pee in a very long time.

If I even start to, I get dysphoric.

As far back as my memory goes, despite what my mom says, I've always peed sitting down.

No. I always sit down.
UNLESS it's absolutely impossible such as having to use a disgusting public bathroom or something where I wouldn't sit if someone paid me.

But that's rare.
  •

Ashlotte

I stand up... But I'll probably sit down once I start presenting as female, standing up is just easier. I do sit down when I'm trying to be quiet though lol.
