Hey guys,  I figured that we needed our own thread for talking about making/designing/rethinking packers and prosthetics.  I'm thinking that maybe we can post our ideas/sketches/photographs here, as well as our contact details (if that's allowed?) in this first post.  You can send the contact deets to me, and I'll post them here.

A few things I'm working on:

1. A cost-effective way of painting silicone prosthetics and dildos
2. Improvements on my "recoloring" tutorial for cyberskin products (namely, a sealant that works)
3. Water and air displacement-based pleasure rods (for anatomical stimulation, not erection)
4. Detachable adhesion tabs
5. Flesh-toned, "free ball" harness system
6. Adding floating testicles to existing packers
7. Finding a glue that works on cyberskin that's flexible and safe for body contact

Preliminary photographs and sketches to come!

I just wanted to let anyone who is working on a prosthetic of any type, that anyone who comes up with a legitimate prosthetic, i would be very interested in testing it and providing it a marketplace to be sold. Feel free to message me about this.

Hey I've been drafting up prosthetic ideas and I believe I have figured out how to recreate the penile implant pump. I figured if you recreate the prosthetic like a actual implant & phalloplasty would be you could create a realistic feeling prosthetic with functions. Give it the ability to go from flaccid to erect. Unlike the current and only model that does it, the Tyron, it will have multiple layers of silicon for a real squeeze and texture not the bike tire tube effect. Back to the pump unlike the Tyron which uses a single cylinder (I believe)   it will replace the corpus cavernosum using two cylinder, one on each side above the urethra opening, giving the ability to create a stp. The multiple layers of silicon will be epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous tissue, with a movable skin, under the skin there would be silicon veins that will attach at two points tip to tip, leaving a free moving middle to assist the movement of skin and vein. I'm thinking a tab will be necessary to counter the weight and semi-cupped design & 3D floating balls for STP function. I'm still drafting up everything and its not my priority because my degree-school is kicking ass, but I'm reading up on molding and silicons and special FX sites. It would be nice to work with someone who has actual training in SFX or abilities. If anyone is in  Houston, TX area or who I could meet up with at least one time to show me some techniques let me know. Any one have any ideas, or any better ideas how to create a working stp that isn't bulky or uncomfortable? I like the nipple STP style and was thinking molding a matching design behind or above the balls you could lift up up to you to seal against the urethra idk?
My profile pic is my hairy pre-t face. I want to be stealth, but my music career may kill that. ;D I like muscle cars, kicks, fashion, music, planes etc. The name I chose for myself is Khai. I'm 22. My ftm Tumblr is: http://gentlemenfck.tumblr.com/

I'd love to know more!  Do you have any sketches yet?

A little inspirational note:  The people from the New York Toy Collective are these two amazing ladies who couldn't find a product to suit their needs and decided to make their own, despite having ZERO experience with FX or plastics or sculpture.  They work out of their living room, learned via online tutorials, and now they're making packers that are being sold all over.  I met them at the Trans Health Conference in Philly yesterday and they told me their story specifically to encourage  all of us budding inventors.

It can happen, guys :)

I do, I have to get access to a scanner and more research and figure a way to get every skin fold and the stretch of the silicon down. What silicon to use, what technique. I'm working on creating a brand, packers, STP's, prosthetic,  a better packing boxer-brief, brief, and boxer, a harness and trying to see the best material to use to create the inflatable implant. I'm taking suggestions on where to get materials, I think I've found some places but it doesn't look legit or like the right silicons. I'm figuring out coloring, etc, its a lot but I don't want to half ass a community. I've been half-ass'd by companies and I want to literally create a prosthetic and a brand that answer's almost everyone's lower dysphoria concerns. Most FX artist are making mask and ears so I'm reading between the lines on how to do this thing. I'm even coming into troubles with creating packing trunks that aren't crappy looking or just draws with my logo on a band. Its looking like on my packing briefs will be bought in bulk and hand sewn the rest of the way to accommodate my customizations i need from a manufacture or I'm creating from scratch.

I like where you're coming from with the packing boxers idea...I'm trying to make one myself based on a few different ideas I've come up with.  I'll post some sketches later today perhaps for some input :)
