Soon I'm about to step off the cliff, take a one way ticket, etc etc. Anyway, when, if at all, after starting hrt did you start to notice facial changes; when did others start to notice? Yesterday I got "Sir" twice in the same shop (grrrr) despite other visual clues and pointers. Honestly I thought the wedding dress would have been enough!! >:( >:(

By the way some of the verification questions are a bit steep! It's like a test for MENSA. (Dyed my hair blond)
Put me under a microscope what would you see?
A question where a kiss should be.

Honestly I don't feel I've had any facial changes and its been almost 18 months. Now saying that, others who know me well have said they do notice some changes (cheeks a little fuller, etc). Seeing yourself every day, you probably won't notice for a while. Heck, electrolysis seems to do more for my face than the hormones do. :)

Moisturizer, hair styling, eye brow shaping, beard removal have all had a greater effect on me than HRT.  Five months of HRT in nine days.

The bulk of my changes didn't start coming til about 10 months in.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

I got to thinking today that, I've seen some amazing changes in some people in real life.  I know the changes can come.  Just, sometimes, those people feel like a mirage.  Especially as I look in the mirror and see so much the same. :(

Though when I dress androgynously (t-shirt, jeans) now people at least seem puzzled.  Maybe there's hope? :)

You've only been on HRT for like 5 months and change there is more then just hope and plus you're looking great in your avatar!

I'm at 4.5~ months in and I THINK my cheeks are a little fatter than usual. I can't be sure since I have no picture to compare to when I'm making a certain face.  Just normal, doesn't look like I have, but making that fake smile face, seems like something happened.

Thanks for all the answers folks but not what I was looking for. Try again! It should go something like this.

I used to look like Gerard Butler's uglier brother after a stag weekend in Ibiza then after just one dose of hrt, the next morning I was the image of Selena Gomez. :o

(I'm guessing though that in reality I perhaps shouldn't get my hopes up too much).

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment. So, yes... As a golden rule - the less You would expect, the happier You will be with Your results afterwards :)
