Hormones can take damage by cold?

Frostice

I was in town and bought a new supply of Evorel estrogen patches at the pharmacy, and on my way home I bought some deep frozen food and put it in the same bag as my hormone patches. When I got home I forgot to unpack my bag, and the hormone patches were in there for 3-4 hours and got really cold when the deep frozen food was there too.

So I wonder if my hormone patches can take damage by that cold for so long?

Look on the fact portion and see if there is a temperature range that they need to be stored at. Three or four hours????? You sure put the FROST in Frostice. ;D

There is nothing about temperature in the description. I've had Divigel before and it said 25 celcius. But nothing stands for Evorel...

By the way, I live in Sweden. Trying to call to some places but they are all closed...

With exception of drugs that MUST be stored in a cold environment, most drugs can take "trips" into cold or hot environments for a short time (couple hours) without significant damage to the drugs effects (cold) or shelf life (heat). After all, they have to have a way to be shipped to the pharmacy and the truck/plane isn't exactly a highlight of a temperature controlled environment.
