By calling me Beth! This was totally unexpected especially since last week he told me that he had a free pass to call me by my birth name. Wow I am speechless now and crying tears of utter joy over his total acceptance of my transition.

to the mods if this is the wrong place to post this please move it to a more suitable place.

Kiera, Your Dad sounds like he was an awesome man I'm sorry that he is no longer here to support you, but I know he is looking down and making sure your doing well for yourself just as my mom is with me.

I remember when my dad first started using my name, I just outright told him.. "dad, you haven't used my new name yet, I would like it if you tried to use it sometime"

then one day he just started doing it, it was a good feeling so I can relate. Congrats.
