So there are a bunch out there there, but it seems that the bottom line is only 3 types seem to really work. I'm posting, this cuz yes im part time but hate, hate, hate that bulge even when in guy mode and am considering taping more frequently if not daily. Any way back to the topic at hand, the three constants seem to be medical tape, breathes and sticks for a little but gives out really easily. Duct tape, can hold for days and is even credited with making swimming possible for a lot of girls but doesn't breathe at all. Finally sports tape, strong, breathable, sweat proof, flexes more then duct tape, and can outlast 5 rounds in a title match in the cage.

While i know the prices vary and one option is basically cheaper then dirt with how much you get, I'm wondering which is really the better option for the day to day tuck and tape, the cheap industrial stuff (aka duct tape) or the slightly more expensive and breathable sports tapes.

There are a lot more types of tape than what you mentioned.
What you are looking for are medical tapes and you will need different methods for tucking for different activities. But on topic questions for you to answer:

1. Are you allergic to latex or any kind of adhesive? If so there are tapes for you but you will need to check your allergy against them. PM me if you are and I can send you some brand names and types.
2. Will it get wet? Because if it will then paper tapes are useless. Even silk tape gives away after being saturated and that stuff doesn't breath.
3. Does it need to breath really well for those dinner dates? Need it in white? Medipore tape is the bomb for this. It has perforated little holes and thin yet strong material to hold wounds in place and yet doesn't hurt like the devil when removed. It even comes in easy to tear strips with different thicknesses for the job.

For swimming though I highly recommend a gaff or something like that because tape will like fail no matter what you use. It just wasn't meant to get wet and duct or duck tape leaves that nasty adhesive behind.

I hope that helps.

I don't often bother with taping, but when I do I've always found 3M's Micropore to work great. It breathes well, retains it's stickiness and isn't too painful to remove.

Despite the apparent success stories using duct tape, I'd avoid it.. In fact, I'd go without tape if duct tape was all I had. I've seen what can happen when it adheres too well - I'm not overly attached to my scrotum, but I'd rather not peel off tape and find that several layers of skin are still stuck to it..

Can we skip all of the other replies that haven't been posted yet and award a best answer award now lol.

Any who, im not allergic to latex or any adhesives, and to the will it get wet....not intentionally but i do sweat like everyone else lol....as to methods, with the one i use i have only had real success and all day/night hold with duct tape....it even held up to having sex while tucked and taped.
Since there are so many ways the PG guide to how i tape is:
Pop the cherries up inside. I then wrap the scrotal skin around the shaft and secure it with a couple wraps of tape. Once everything is tucked back i secure it with a couple strips of tape going from cheek to cheek, then another thinner later in the shape of an X to better secure everything in place. I love this method because i can still use the bathroom while taped and everything stays hidden.

Putting tuck tape on such a sensitive area, makes me hurt just thinking about getting it off.

I don't really tape that much, my panties normally keep it my area relatively flat, which passes under a skirt or most pants. the only time tucking is required is when I wear tighter clothing, then a gaff helps and i makes my pubic area look female.

Also two and half years of hrt, has shrunk me enough, to need major taping. For me a gaff works.. most of my clothing i just wear panties to keep things relatively flat.

Then micro pore tape is for you. 3M makes Medipore and it has super strong but gentle adhesive. It also breathes super well.
There are knock off brands if its expensive where you are. Micro pore, medipore it's all about the same thing. Tape designed with open wounds in mind so it has to stick well without pulling off skin.

I don't use tape either. I tried gaff's, but they seem to be a one size fits most size and I'm apparently not most. They always cut off circulation for me. I've fallen back on shapewear. Not only does it keep stuff in place, but if you get the full torso kind, a lot of them come with a little clip at the bottom (like a bra) that makes it really easy to hit the bathroom too.
