Kailyn625

And forum formalities and such.

Anywho, hello~

My name is Kailyn, and I'm a girl (mtf) starting to take some legitimate steps toward transition, sorta.

Although...personally I prefer to just think of myself as female, as opposed to being an mtf transgendered individual.  My biggest gripes right now are my voice and my lack of fashion sense, which has led me to be in some ways, even more eccentric in appearance than I intended, or sometimes me feeling that over the top ridiculous is simply the only way to go.  Because that's how badasses do it.

But enough about that.

Public information I'm willing to dish out on first contact:  I'm a gamer/anime/martial arts kinda person.  Sorta tomboyish, but also feminine.  :D  My current projects involve real-world transition from child to adult, such as getting my own place, securing a better job, putting my degree to use, etc.  Jeez, it seems like turning 21 just thrust me out of my comfort zone.  xP

I'm not sure if I can be considered "hardcore" in any of my interests, but I most certainly am not casual.  If I say I know what I'm talking about, I know what I'm talking about.  ...more or less.  >3>

Sorry for the long postings.  Hopefully I'll be active here and start some friendships and other things of the like.  I am most certainly looking forward to it~

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Hi Kailyn,

You are a girl so don't get hung up on the trans*stuff. If anyone ever asks me I tell them I'm post trans.

Labels are pretty useless in my opinion!

But welcome from a rather cold South Australia, it is winter here and I've had enough of it!!!

Hello and welcome! Do you go to any anime conventions at all?
Courage is the power that turn dreams into reality.

Hi Kailyn, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 11766 . That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Yeah, actually.  I regularly attend Sac-anime, the largest local con for my area that I can afford.  >3>

Personally I don't like the experience as much as I hear it is at larger stuff, like Fanime and Anime Expo, but eh.  What can I do?  I can't afford to go to the others.

Also I cosplay.

So far I've done (In order):
Mugen [Samurai Champloo] (First and terrible I must say.  twas regular clothes and I was like 12)
Black Mage [Final Fantasy Series] (Also kinda terrible)
Yuki Nagato [The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya]
Gokudera Hayato (10 years later) [Katekyo Hitman Reborn]
Naoto Shirogane [Persona 4]
Kiryu Kyosuke (Team Satisfaction) [Yu-gi-oh! 5Ds]
Shadow Naoto [Persona 4]
Boximus Prime [Original/improvised with a "creative name"]
Toph Beifong [Avatar: The Last Airbender]

Thank you very much all of you~  ^^  I'll probably post more about myself in other topics, should the content be relevant.
