Hi everyone,

I am finding it hard to start this intro without sounding like I've taken my inspiration from an AA meeting... Here goes anyway...

My name is Lou, I live in England and I have issues with my gender identity. This is nothing new but it is something I feel I can't keep hiding from for fear of where it might lead. I joined the boards sometime last week in search of some understanding minds and maybe some support in the journey I am embarking on.

Looking forward to meeting you all,

Lou

Welcome Lou.  Pleased to meet you.   ;)

For our new members, please be sure to review:

You have recognized you have gender issues and you are addressing them.  That's pretty smart, if you ask me.

<in unison> Hi Lou!

Welcome to Susan's Place! I live near Boston. Make yourself at home, we're a pretty friendly bunch. Hugs, Devlyn

Hi Lou, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 11725 . That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another member.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Welcome, Lou!  I'm guessing from your "Hello, world" title that you're a programmer? :)
Sometimes I blog things

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

Hey,

Its so nice to be welcomed by so many people!

Anna! I am not a programmer, sadly, but I'm guessing by the binary under your DP that you are?

Lajs and Big Kim- Good to know I am not alone at this side of the pond.

Cindy

Hi Lou,

I was born in the UK but deported to Australia when I stole a loaf of bread, or was that not paying my rent or maybe I just escaped!

I now live in South Australia but have many friends from the UK thanks to this site.

Hugs and Welcome!!

Hi Cindy,

Sounds like an escape to me! I have a big family in NZ so I have been over a couple of times. Fully intend on escaping there myself at some point.

I am,  but the binary sequence is from a Futurama episode.
