Hello guys, I'm so happy to announce to you guys that I just had my top surgery last week with Dr. Medalie with peri type.
However, I'm somewhat unsatisfied with the result.
I know it's just one week and I should allow it to heal, but I can't help having questions about the final result of my surgery.
My chest looks really swollen, like, really, really swollen. It appears to look like a small female chest instead of a male chest as it should be.
I went through all the pictures in transbucket and I don't see a lot of guys in common with me.
I'm worried about having a revision, since I had small chest pre-op (small B/large A kind) and I'm scared i'm gonna look like this 4 months later :( It does not even appear flat under T-shirts !!!

So, if any guys who went through this before or know anything to reduce the swelling, I'm much appreciate.
Here is some pictures of what I'm talking about:

If you didn't remove your picture, image shack did because it might 'violate' their TOS.

Surgery is a traumatic event for your body. Looking at your pecks right now, a week after someone was basically in there scraping your body out with a spoon, and saying 'This looks terrible' is just a waste of mental effort. Everyone's body responds differently after surgery and yours may flare up and become inflamed a lot easier/longer than others. Your incisions aren't even healed yet! My dog was neutered a month ago and two days ago I noticed he had a scab in the surgery area and picked at it and revealed part of the incision that is still closing up. That's after a MONTH.

Micah on neutrois.me documented their top surgery, apparently there was still a bit of swelling after around a year.

Did you already have your drains out? I'm 9 days post op with a peri, got my drains out after 7 days and the surgeon told me if there's any fluid build up to contact him right away. Otherwise, I'm wearing a compression binder for the next two weeks, and then two more weeks after that just at night. That will help further fluid build up and swelling, and so that the skin retains its elasticity- hence, looking better. I got a peri because I didn't want to deal with the long scars, but you should know that it takes 6 months-year for your chest to "set." You may well have swelling at 4 months, but at least make sure you're doing everything you can to prevent it.
