I had the same kind of epiphany just before I realized I was trans...I was on a few boards which focused on my "masculine" hobbies etc. and it got to the point of futility...
One can't argue, no one will agree to disagree, or change their minds...it doesn't matter what evidence one presents, it's "all made up." Eventually even the simple stuff is just so damn aggravating that it sickened me to any of that...stuff.
I basically have three sites I go to now:

Facebook...
and
Motivational Twist, a multi-stop "demotivational poster" type site.
Once a week I check out
Mockgirl.com...but otherwise...nothing on a regular basis. Email is checked on my phone, and Wikipedia is the single frequented non-recurrent site.
