I said I'd do it before the month is out, and I damn well did.

Not gonna lie, the reaction wasn't that great - she's playing Devil's Advocate right now and trying to convince me that I don't have any 'female attributes' (WTF are 'female attributes'?) and that it's probably to do with being bullied at school (urgh).

I especially disliked her comment that people will ALWAYS be able to point out my male features no matter how far in transition I go - I'd like to think that since I'd be starting in my very early 20s that I could someday look like any other woman (if a fair bit taller than average).

But it could have gone worse. Yay.
My Skype name is twisted_strings.

If you need someone to talk to, and would like to add me as a contact, send me a contact request on Skype, plus a PM on here telling me your Skype name.  :)

I'm sure she will come around! I told my mom yesterday too. On the bright side atleast you don't have to hide it from her anymore? Congrats Cassandra!! :-*

One step at a time!  WooT for you though!!! :)  Hopefully some time will bring her around, it is a shock to them.   I wish everyone was as lucky as Liv and myself in this aspect.

My mother also points out the fact that I was bullied at school and claims I'm manly in appearance and persona (which annoys me to no end).  Parents try to look for alternative theories to talk you out of taking any action.  Just try to wait it out.  Hopefully it will improve.
