I've used this site and the forums recently and finally decided to join the group to be able to participate in the discussions . The information and opinions I have read have been instrumental during my transition, was definitely a study guide full of wonderful knowledge and support. I am a 47 year old MTF residing in Oklahoma. I have been on HRT for 13 months and my family and friends are aware of my transition. I am very lucky to be sharing my life with a wonderful man. He is FTM and has been on hormones for 8 years. He has truly been my rock during this journey never wavering during the initial mood swings, hot flashes, bitchiness and quick to take my hand and tell me I'm beautiful no matter what the mirror reflection was telling me. Since allowing my true self to step forward I've been a much calmer and happier person and my friends/family can't believe the emotional change, not to mention the physical change. I am looking forward to being an active participant on this forum and welcome any questions or comments.
