Honestly, I think there's a problem with the people you're with. I've never seen such misogyny. If anything women seem to be put on an undue pedestal here.

No its called the real world....yes most men do respect me, and are almost always their to help.... but when I'm not asking for help or I am the one that is suppose to be helping someone else....seems men know better.

It'll be fantastic when the day comes, I'm really excited at all the prospects of transition. When the day finally comes that I can't pass off as male will be a glorious day and tomboy it will be for me lol, I don't mind at all taking up male roles or even being perceived as such if I can at that point. Overall it has been such a wonderful experience so far. :3

I dont necessarily have to live 100% female. Is there anything really wrong with wanting to live as both even though I heavily favor my female side?

I've been doing that for 19 years and it works for me. Sure there will be some who think you're nuts, but you needn't let their opinion become yours. I find group think and peer pressure to be potentially one of the greatest negatives in TG groups and social networking sites, yes even here at Susan's. You have to be your own person and live your life as you wish without some naysayer trying to make you feel awful. I live my days as an androgynous person, sometimes predominantly male and other times as female. If I want to hang out with the girls I can go all girly if I wish, or if I decide to go hunting or fishing with the guys, then it's guy time. It works for me Julia, so take some time and get to know your own mind and heart and realize that you don't have to live your life to please others however it is comfortable for you to be able to fit into various scenarios and enjoy time with others of a different persuasion and not feel harassed while doing it.

I'm glad to have the opportunity to live as I wish to. The only thing was that I've been a bit timid to be myself because I built up walls to protect myself from well me unfortunately. I'm honestly still a little scared to be who I want and dress how I want. I guess as time goes by and the more I experiment the better it will get and now I'm currently looking for that happy tomboyish medium.
