So while I could save and pay for the whole FFS, breast implants, and GRS out of pocket it is much wiser to use someone else's money hopefully at a affordable interest rate. Before going any further I do live in the United States and I have excellent credit. Right now pre-everything I am working on my transition plan. Financial planning of course is a huge part of the plan.

That said what are your experiences with this? If you are willing to divulge your rate as well that would be great too. I'm trying to get a feel for the cost aspect of a full transition surgery wise.

Other questions:
1. Are you able to write off the interest payments on this on your taxes?
2. Are you allowed to spend the loan at any service provider? What about those out of the country?
3. How bad did the loan hit your credit rating?
4. Were there any hidden fees from providers or the loan company that drove you over the amount of your loan or caused you to finance something you did not want to throw into the loan? And what did you about it?

Thanks in advance for any insight and experiences with this. :)
