Been toying around with the idea of joining a support site like this for some time now, and considering I've only just built up the courage to really try to be myself, I figured in for a penny, in for a pound!

My name is Alice (if you couldn't tell from the username), I am 21 years old, and I am a mtF transsexual. I've been deeply closeted (more like caved in and hiding under a rock) since I was 6 years old, and recently found something similar to a backbone, so I have been scrambling to make up lost time.
I greatly enjoy movies and video games, but my all time passion is the written word. I read with every ounce of my free time right now, and occasionally I stop to try to write something. I am currently going to school so that I can go to school even more - I hope to some day be a science teacher.
