You know! I probably should have come here first, but I couldn't help myself to visit the other places first!

Who am I, though? Just an oddball, in general! Someone embarking on the journey as a MtF, looking for answers, and a home of sorts to reside in.  :P I have been looking around, and seeing just how friendly this community is; if you prefer, this FAMILY is very friendly.

Ever since I was very young, I've felt uncomfortable being a boy, so at a very young age, I'd find ways to pretend I was a girl. It only got more elaborate as I got older, but seeing as I hadn't taken any initiative on these grounds, I ended up hurting a lot of people on my way. So here I am!~

I have seen some rather pretty MtFs on here too, which gave me quite a bit of hope, as I don't have a very masculine frame or facial features, so I have been thinking, "If they can do it, I am going to try also!". It helps that I've also had some supportive friends, some who aren't with me anymore, but importantly, my Belgium Waffle was there for me! She helped me by teaching me some things, and has been a great friend all in all.

I also used to be rather mean to transgender people, despite wanting to be a girl, I didn't seem to understand ANYWAY. Now, I couldn't see myself ever being horrendous like that again; really and truly, such mean and cold nature, seems to just stem from not understanding something.

Whatever!~ I just am glad a community like this exists, because it's from the looks of it, tremendously helpful to so many people, all going through so many different issues. And how did I arrive here? Google, obviously...  :icon_rolleyes2: I wanted to help a friend who is going through their own thing, so I googled away. I figured, since I was already doing my own thing, it couldn't hurt to join a big community of people, and after viewing the forums a bit, I realized, it's more like a family than anything at times.

SooOOOooo anyways! Glad to be here, and ... HI!!  :icon_caffine:

Hi PepperedIssy, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 11945 . That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

PepperedIssy - I love that name!  I'm Jamie and I'm in southern California.

A warm welcome to you.   :)

Thanks for the warm welcome!

And heeey~ Saw that, but I was definitely confused at the start, but figured it out on my own, on why I couldn't get avatar set up. I usually set up an avatar rather quickly once I join a forum, it's just fun and it's personalizing your post more and more. But it's okay, good things come to those who are patient!

And just so you know, if a family reunion DOES happen, I am stealing all the cheesecake (if there is any!), because it's probably my guiltiest fat-fat treat. Mmmm..~  ;D So yeah, just fair warning for you all!

Hi, welcome... such a cute name!

Transphobia is part of denial... I always thought our kind where kinda creepy.  Now I understand, and forgive myself- hopefully I will help educate people now and make up for my errors.

Body... meet brain.  Now follow her lead and there will be no more trouble, you dig?
