When we walk to the edge of all the light we have and take the step into the darkness of the unknown, we must believe that one of two things will happen. There will be something solid for us to stand on or we will be taught to fly. — Patrick Overton

Bravo and thank you Robyn,  That is a great story and reflects a world we shared as I am 62 yo and less than a year into accepting myself as transgender.  Like others we accepted our gender misfortune and soldiered on making the best of what we had to deal with.   And they said the 60's were about sexual freedom with birth control and hippy free love?  What a better world we live in now?

I have read the story before.  Nice love story about Robyn and Emery.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me
