I'm moving there VERY soon. Found a place in Baldwin Park, CA at a very good price. Just wanted to ask local gals or guys what you think of the area as opposed to let's say downtown L.A. or Alhambra or Koreatown.

Baldwin Park is in the San Gabriel Valley (the "other" valley!).  I have twice lived in the area; San Marino and San Gabriel.  I very much like the area.

No, I no longer live there.  When my job moved from downtown Los Angeles to Ventura County, the 90-120 minute commute, leaving the house at 4:30 AM, became somewhat tedious.
