So over the 4th i went camping. While camping i had to try to make a quick get away from some very angry hornets and, i slipped and fell. Well i landed right on my butt and bruised my coxys aka tail bone. So on top of the steroids and prescription strength Benadryl from the allergic reaction from the stings i got, i also got a doughnut and some tynol 3. Does anyone have any advice on how to comfortably cross my legs until my tailbone doesn't hurt anymore...or am i stuck, sitting with my knees together till it heals.

Thanks in advance.
Kari.

If it hurts you should probably avoid it all together...you want to make sure you heal okay! You can try crossing your legs in different ways but depending on how you do it it may come off as masculine.

In my experience a bruised tailbone heals pretty quickly so hopefully it's only a couple of days where you have to deal with it.

Just don't do it. There are other comfortable ways of sitting.
