Hello, I am new on these forums. I decided to join a trans forum because I feel a need to change my gender (I'm a guy that wants to be female). So just a bit about myself other than that:
My parents aren't very accepting parents, apparently. I decided to tell them, and that didn't go well...I'd prefer to not say what my mother said about transsexuals, for I'd think that you all might be insulted.  :(
Because of how my parents are, I'm waiting until I get to a university like Harvard (where being trans is accepted)  and must (unfortunately) pretend to not be transsexual anymore to my parents and agree with their viewpoints. Painful, but worth it, in my opinion. Harvard is also good because my parents are Asian, and Asians (especially my parents) have high expectations for their children  ;) .
So...hello!

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me
