What did your doctor say?

The issue is usually about clotting.

Has your doctor given you instructions to prepare for surgery, if not you need to ASK.
Nameless here for evermore!;  Merely this, and nothing more;
Tis the wind and nothing more!;  Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore!!"

Whilst I have absolutely no idea about the OP's question I am curious as to where one would have FFS other than on their face?  ;D

Sorry, I was going anyway.

Rosie.
Well that was fun! What's next?

My surgeon said that I could continue to take my hormones even up to the morning of the surgery. A nurse from the hospital the surgery is happening at also confirmed this when she called me today to get some information. I just always heard girls saying the had to stop for a short period before they had surgery, though I can't exactly recall if they were talking about SRS, FFS or BA. Regardless, I am glad I can still take my doses as usual. Just missing 1 of my 2 daily doses makes me panic.

There is no blanket policy on this, it's totally up to the individual surgeon.

My FFS surgeon did not require me to stop.

My SRS surgeon did not require me to stop.

I've never been off estrogen since starting almost 10 years ago.
