For how could I ever ask someone to love me as a woman for my body, if I can't even love my body as a woman for myself?

Woah, you remembered! Yep, I just got back from her house a little while ago. It was great! We were still just in the first store we went into and SHE asked ME if I wanted to go look at the rings. She asked while smiling and when I said okay she gave me a hug and it made me feel a heck of a lot better :) I found one I really liked, it was like a leaf that sort of twisted around your finger, but it was too small to get past my boney knuckles :/ we went around to some different stores (the one I mentioned earlier had only smaller rings cause it's meant for "tweens" and female teens) and at one store she even offered to buy me one! But we ended up going back to the first store and I found one that I liked enough :D it was kinda too big (my knuckles mess everything up :/ ) but we got ring snuggies... Kinda sorta tacky but they get the job done. The ring kind of looks a little like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/64357886/black-lace-victorian-style-ring-with , but it's fuller, and there are a lot more crystals (black and silver). Also, the "lace" part doesn't look so cheap... It looks as though it's made of many little beads, and it's more of a burnt/dark silver than black... The more I look at it the more I love it! :D

After the mall we went back to her house. I was afraid that while I was expressing my feminine self so explicitly she wouldn't want me to hug her, or cuddle with me, or kiss me... Contrary to my fears, we hugged and cuddled and kissed each other just as we normally would. In fact, after we finsihed getting the ring snuggie set and I put on my new ring, she reached over to a jewelry box and pulled out this VERRRY feminine and large flower ring, and she put it on me, and she kissed my cheek. :)

Congratulations on buying a ring to express yourself. What makes it even more exciting is that you have the support of her with all the love and affection. So happy for you :D :D

I remember my first "openly feminine accessory"! I was 14 and got my ears pierced. They gave me a nice pair of (imitation) diamond studs to wear home. My mother was furious!!! It was 1963  :o LOL!

For me, it was an unusual beginning, so I will tell you the first two (2) openly womanly accessories.

  • Bra: at work.  I had been binding my breasts at work to assume the boy profile, but through an unusual chain of events, I got my boss' personal OK it for me to wear what was comfortable.  So that next day I began to wear my bra, stopped hiding my breasts.  It has worked out well.  I was so worried about my boss, but she was super.
  • Sandals: no toe colors but definitely women's sandals.  But after item 1, above, there was not much anxiety or nervousness with this item or anything else, because I was out all the way, no stealth.
Since then, more and more little and large things.  I am taking time off from work now, but that was the big area for me, working out my transition mainly at my job.
All great things are simple, and many can be expressed in single words: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.
