Last week I took myself to the Probate Court office in my city to file for my legal name change.  Seven days later, I have in my possession 4 copies of the Name Change Order (2 certified).  In the next few days I begin the process to change every document, account, etc listed in my former name.

I was expecting to feel stressed with regard to all the paperwork needing changed.  In this moment, I am happy.  In some ways, it feels like validation that it's okay to be me. 

Anyway, I was so excited that I wanted to share.  Hopefully everyone has a great day!
