For how could I ever ask someone to love me as a woman for my body, if I can't even love my body as a woman for myself?

Hi Jillian,

Why no introduction honey!

You are with family now and we don't bite!!!

Hugs and welcome.

Do have a read of the rules in the announcement section, an organised Mod will post a link.

And don't worry about being shy! I'm very well known for being the quiet shy type as well >:-)

Hi Jillian!!

Intros are simple, and they're graded on a curve.

Sample essay:

QuoteHi, I'm (insert name here). I'm (MtF/FtM/AIC/CD/TV/DQ/DK), and I live (in/at/near) the (insert appropriate adjective and place here).

I've (always known/only recently discovered/exploring) that I am a (boy/girl), and want to learn how to (get on hormones/get surgeries/come out/cook fried chicken). I (have/haven't) lurked for awhile, and thought it'd be swell to say "Hi!" to everyone.

Hi, everyone!

--(Insert name here)

^-^

Again, welcome to our place, Jillian!!

Hi Jillian, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 12080 . That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

Wow, that was a much bigger reception than I expected. I've been lurking for a while, but I guess I never read the introductions sections. You're serious. Family. That's very cool. Thank you.

The reason I went with my non-intro intro is because I kept backspacing and thinking "no, too personal." And I guess I gave up.

But I doubt I'm the first. :P

Hi, I'm (Jillian). I'm (MtF), and I live in the (bible belt.)

I've known (for most of my life (I added that one)) that I am a (girl), and want to learn how to (cook fried chicken (and ski. Added that too.)) I (have) lurked for awhile, and thought it'd be swell to say "Hi!" to everyone.

Hi, everyone!
