question about doctor Brassard.

So i have herd rumors on other trans boards (like LPG) that he either won't or because of Canadian laws can't operate on US citizens and can only or will only operate on Canadians. Is this true? Im just wondering because numerous pages have him in the top 5 worlds best surgeons, and a couple have him as number 2 behind Supron.

I don't know the official story on what he claims, but I do know 2 people who are U.S Citizens that did get their surgery done by him.   If he himself claims that, it wasn't the case in the past.  And yes, both people were happy with their results.

I wouldn't worry about it.  I know personally know people who have gone to him and many other people online have claimed to have gone to him.  It would have had to have changed very recently which I doubt would have happened.  He may give priority to patients in Canada, I'm not sure, but he wouldn't or shouldn't deny you surgery because you are a U.S. citizen.

He also has no qualms operating on UK citizens. Trust me...

Dr B will do surgery on anyone in the world who has all there papers in order, when i had mine there where girls from all 4 corners of the world having theres done. Yes i am a Dr. B girl, from the States done in April of this year.

There is no real ranking as in surgeon x will without a doubt make a better vajayjay then surgeon y. That said there are ones with consistency in terms of aesthetics, (umm) function and aftercare.

Google does wonders, i just did a search for "worlds best srs surgeon" and then hit a bunch of links and did some reading.

I'm glad that there is a surgeon in Germany; a few in fact. I'll see analyses if they're good later in my "career" I think; this will most certainly be subject to changes.

What the heck?! No, add me to the list of US citizens he cheerfully operated on. 🙂 And his info packet included passport and border crossing info, too. He does demand payment in Canadian currency (which isn't unreasonable), but that's the only limitation I'm aware of for a non-Canadian citizen.

I have a friend who went to him in May of this year, so it'd have to be a REALLY recent change.

Jeez, I wouldn't go so far as godlike... I'm quite content with the results, though; 5.5 inches of depth, orgasmic, self-lubricating, and results natural-looking enough that my gyn exam had the verdict that once the internal scarring smooths over it'll be indistinguishable from the homegrown version. (The external scars have already faded and vanished into hair.) Still, it's not like people would faint at the sight of its beauty. 😉 I'm sure all the major surgeons can produce equally good results on a normal day.

It really comes down to who you trust. As someone already said there is no real rating on the doctors, it comes down to there results. I am only at little over the 3 month mark and do not feel it is ready to work my new parts out. (wink wink) But my husband is very pleased with what it looks like. Will see here real soon how it holds up? Just remember everyones results are different as in every cis is different. I am happy with my choice, i think experence is well worth its weight in gold.
Just a fyi I was also thinking of Dr Mc Ginn in phila. She was doing her residency at the time i had my top surgery done and i am happy with her work.

Reason im asking is because im still 50/50 between DR. B and Supron for SRS and am considering Rumer for FFS and possibly implants if needed
