I don't know if there's a thread already where we can bounce names and ideas off of each other. If so, then this is another one.

If you're having trouble picking a name, you can come in here and tell us your given name and ask what it could be turned into, list off your name ideas and have people help you pick one, or even upload a picture of yourself and ask what you look like.

My given name is Natalie Rose. I've always hated it because it's far too feminine. I always thought it was weird that I hated it because I like those names on other people, but since I've realized I'm trans and there's no way out of this, it makes sense.

I'm hesitant about picking a name because I want it to be forever. I want something that's normal but uncommon, something that sounds good together, something that can maybe be easily made into a nickname, and something that can also be sexy.

A lot of my top picks I couldn't ever use as a first name because I'm too close with people with these names, so I'm open to anything as a middle name. So far for a first name I like:
*Jeremy (Michael?)
*Graham

I liked Tristan just because I could see myself as a Tristan, but I think it would leave me open to being misgendered if I don't masculinize enough, plus it's not sexy in a masculine way.

Any suggestions? I'm open to both first and middle names, just know that there's a lot of common guys' names I like that I can't use for a first name.

I read your post, and I know you hate your name because it's too feminine.

The first thing I thought was Nathaniel Rowe.

Some people like a similar name to their original, and some want a brand new start. Hugs, Devlyn

I like Nathan Rowe a lot ;]

Or what about Ross as the middle?

Jeremy Ross, Nathan Ross...

I've edited the second half of the reply out for privacy concerns, but I can still ask... which spelling looks better? Loren, Lorin,or Lorrin? ;]

Hmm, that's a tough one! I like all of those, they're all so unique. The first spelling looks more typical, while the second two spellings look like they could be a comic book hero's name or something from mythology. :)

I like the sound of Nathaniel (Nate for short), it's not too common like Nathan is even though it's stemmed from, and it sounds sophisticated and a little more charming :) plus reminds me of Nathaniel Buzolic and he's pretty awesome :P

I'm going for something completely different for mine, I went through a looot of names until one just felt right for me so I'm sticking with it. I don't recall ever liking my old name, I hated it even more when people yelled to get my attention from afar and draw attention, always made me cringe, feels much better knowing I'll be getting my deed poll soon :)
