Following lunch, conference-goers again had a choice of workshops dealing with ageism, poverty, universal access, mental illness, representation of difference in online spaces and transgender issues. A highlight of the day was a workshop based on the Winooski School District's successful "Don't Hate ... Appreciate" project. Our workshop presenters were all local professionals and community members who volunteered their time to provide much-needed and much-appreciated information.
