example: I have always heard, for girls or guys, being attractive is in your confidence. you don't need to look like million dollars to be attractive, and in this case you don't need to be stealthy to be a real man.the real man is in you. and people will see it as long as you are confident it is there..

good luck :)

Confidence is sexy, no question.. Confidence can get you over the line when you are not as physically attractive as you might like.

I don't even fool with Tumblr. Just seems like a big pissing contest for the young transguy community. Like others have said, you really can't guess what hormones will do for you personally. If you feel that medically transitioning is right for you and will lead to your happiness then I wouldn't slam the door on it based on fear. I would suggest finding a therapist familiar with lgbt issues and exploring your feelings on it.

No, everyone doesn't move away and start a new life to transition. I did but that was about 13 years ago. Acceptance was nil back then. There really are no rules to how you should transition. It's your life and your journey.

yeah you don't have to move away.

right now as i am just coming out about it, i am making sure i only tell people who will support my change. i've told 4 people so far and there are more but i am not going to stress myself out trying to tll people who will just give me the cold shoulder and hate my guts. you don't need that. you need support in the beginning. later on, once you've got yourself more figured out you can confront the unaccepting. because you know you've got people behind you.

at least that's what im doin.
good luck to ya.
