I wanted to give a public apology to everyone here (including Susan and the staff) because I think conversations have gotten heated and distorted over the past few days over the site's new direction.  My intention was never to fight or bitch at anyone.  Last thing I wanted was for people to start fighting with each other.   I love this site and the community here; therefore, I care about the direction it takes.  I don't care about anything other than this community staying in tact and for us all remaining as members with mutual respect.  While I am not ashamed of anything I said, I didn't mean to start a war here on the boards which is what it seemed to result in.  If you were taking my feedback and constructive criticism as a personal insult of you or the site, then I'm sorry.  It was not intended to come across as bitching at all as I completely support the donation function and am grateful to everyone who stepped up.  I love this site and will even admit that it probably saved my life a few times.  I want personally thank the staff for all that you have done and everyone who has donated to keep this site up and running.   I never meant ill will to anyone and apologize if you took offense to what I have said in the previous thread.  I hope some of you can understand that my intentions came from a good place even if it hasn't been received as such.

P.S.  Sorry if this is in the wrong place.  You may lock it if you wish.  I just wanted to post this publicly to everyone as I feel all deserve an apology.

LTL – I have followed your responses and concerns from the beginning.  It is because you truly care and truly value this site that you wrote what you did.  With that knowledge in mind, I, for one, understand.  I'm not sure that an apology was necessary but yours was a good one.
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

I'm pretty new here but I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we all love you and your posts.  No one is without anger and the fact that you are honest about your feelings is a positive thing.
