Hey all,

Do any of you know of any legitimate online jobs or companies that hire telecommuters? (No sales, though, please.)

My current job (managing cell phone accounts for a big company) will be ending soon, as the branch I work for recently changed ownership. I have no idea when it will actually end, but as it's only part-time anyway I desperately need to get another source of income. As it is, the only reason I can make it paycheck to paycheck is from selling my old books on Amazon. Even then, it's a near thing.

Also, has anyone here ever used a résumé/CV editing service? 'Selling' myself has never been a talent of mine, and my résumé could certainly use some help. However, I don't know if using one of those services would be worth it or not. If anyone has had experience with one I'd love to hear your opinion.

(OT, but please forgive my need to vent: I just found out some jack@$$ racked up $1300 in charges to Google Play on my credit card. GRAHH!!! And the bank's customer service was offline, despite their posted hours saying otherwise. :eusa_wall: Not what I need right now!  Okay, venting complete.)

Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions!

There are companies that do allow to work online or from home, but keep in mind many jobs posted as such are scams.  I have been approached by numerous scam artists during my job search and a big sign that they aren't legit is if they don't want you to come in to work or to interview in person. However,  it depends ob the situation.

I wouldn't waste your money on designing your resume.  There is so muxh info out there that it doesn't make sense spending money.
